Music from the movies – Iberian organ recital
Cinema’s music has a special place, besides contributing to the imagery it creates a common-place of well known melodies recognized by the audience. They are so recognizable that become indissociable with the film itself. Now imagine those soundtracks played in a 225 years old Portuguese pipe organ. Unforgettable music themes like Star Wars, Interstellar, 2001, Bladerunner or Lord of the Rings. The pipe organ is a fascinating means to to realize the music of film soundtracks, with its multitude of sounds that mimic the symphonic orchestra. It is especially effective in a Portuguese pipe organ, also known has Iberian organ or historical organ.
