Music from the movies – Iberian organ recital

Cinema’s music has a special place, besides contributing to the imagery it creates a common-place of well known melodies recognized by the audience. They are so recognizable that become indissociable with the film itself. Now imagine those soundtracks played in a 225 years old Portuguese pipe organ. Unforgettable music themes like Star Wars, Interstellar, 2001, Bladerunner or Lord of the Rings. The pipe organ is a fascinating means to to realize the music of film soundtracks, with its multitude of sounds that mimic the symphonic orchestra. It is especially effective in a Portuguese pipe organ, also known has Iberian organ or historical organ.

An example of repertoire: Indiana Jones, Superman, Back to the Future, Requiem for a Dream, Mission: Impossible, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Conan the Barbarian, Conan the Destroyer, Shinning, X-Files, Exorcist, Piano, Halloween, Blade Runner, 2001 – Space Odyssey, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Trek, Interstellar, Inception, Star Wars, Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Alien.
