This library keeps words. Many of them old, hidden, lost, in silence. This installation is the poetic archeology of the Ajuda National Palace Royal Library. It is the rediscovery of those old words, now revealed in unexpected and interactive digital displays that bring them to the eyes of the present day public. An immersive experience, using the works of classic authors, found in the library, curating their words and submitting them to the randomness of an AI algorithm, athen revealing this “new literature” in a digital format. It is in this tangents between past and future, modernity ands classicism, literature and technology, that this new poetry and this new language are found. Words are ancient things, what we do with them can be always new.
